How to determine the correct heel height:

It is always important to determine the correct size of dance shoes.

The first criterion is whether you are competitive dancers or casual users. Next, for women, whether you are buying shoes with a closed or open toe. With closed-toe shoes, the closed toe can make a size difference of 0.5 to 1 cm for each customer (i.e., half a size or a whole size).

Competitive dancers want a size that fits their foot precisely so that when the instep is stretched, the sole does not extend beyond the foot. (For casual users, the shoe may seem small when standing normally.)

If you are purchasing shoes for dance classes, we recommend adding 0.5 cm to your measured size.

Your shoe size is the length of your foot in cm. (Most shoe sizes are available in half sizes as well.)
